ABOUT ME
Štěpán was born in 1979 and has been involved in amateur acting since childhood.
In his youth, he primarily worked with LARP groups and later moved on to historical sword fighting. Eventually, he became a professional sword fighter, regularly performing at major historical festivals both in the Czech Republic and in Europe, and collaborating on many movies (Emperor, Daughter of the Witch, Tristan and Isolde) and TV series (Borgia, The Musketeers). He has worked with key players in this field such as Merlet, Nemanice and ARGO.
At the same time, he felt compelled to fully devote himself to acting. After graduating from the Václav Martinec Actors Studio, he completed his Prague-based acting studies. He has many years of acting experience with various theater ensembles (Radar Theater, Spitire Company, Cirque Garuda, Studna Theater, Broad’s Way Production Prague, acting and directing internships in St. Petersburg, RU, under the director Lev Borisovich Erenburg).
Since 2012, Štěpán has been a member of the Kašpar theater ensemble at the Prague Theater in Celetná (Cyrano, Letters, Rome and Juliet, Postcards, Richard the III, Macbeth, The Beauty Queen of Leenane).
In addition to theater, film and television acting, Štěpán also does voice work with a focus on dubbing acting and reading audio books.
Apart from acting, Štěpán has also remained a playful comedian. Since 2015, he has been a member of the Chůdadlo theater and new circus group, where he continuously performs and enhances his skills as a juggler, stilt walker, acrobat and fire performer.
